Freddy vs. Jason Battle Continues at Halloween Horror Nights 2015
It was back in 2007 when Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees took over Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights, the two icons each getting their own haunted attractions. Freddy and Jason return to the park this year, but this time around they’re doing battle!
Universal Studios Orlando officially announced today that a Freddy vs. Jason attraction will be one of the highlights of Halloween Horror Nights 25, which will feature a whopping nine houses, five scare zones, and two outrageous special event shows.
The Freddy vs. Jason house will be split into three parts, the first two allowing you to step foot into Camp Crystal Lake and onto Elm Street. After touring both locales, you’re then treated to an epic fight between the two villains, and the coolest thing about the haunt is that the winner changes throughout the night.
“We’re actually doing two different endings,” says creative director Michael Aiello. “Depending on when you go in, you’re going to see Jason being victorious, or you’re going to see Freddy being victorious. The fans of Freddy and the fans of Jason are definitely divided camps in the horror community.”
Halloween Horror Nights 25 promises to be the biggest and scariest event in the history of Universal Studios, and the fun begins on September 18th – continuing on select nights straight through Halloween.
