Dawn of the Planet of the Zombies and the Giant Killer Plants Doesn’t Exist, But it Needs to Happen

Okay, the headline is a little misleading. The name of the flick in the fake trailer embedded below isn’t Dawn of the Planet of the Zombies and the Giant Killer Plants, it’s actually Dawn of the Planet of the Zombies and the Giant Killer Plants on Some Serious Acid (officially Dawn of the… Stuff for short). The film doesn’t exist, but that doesn’t mean we can’t cross our fingers tight and pray to the movie gods to drop this in our laps. I would honestly watch it in a heartbeat.

According to Film School Rejects, the concept is the brainchild of Norwegian filmmaker Alf Lovvold, the co-founder of a 3D effects house in Oslo called Gimpville. The effects company has tackled a number of Norwegian motion pictures, including writer/director André Øvredal’s Trollhunter. Judging from the faux trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Zombies, Lovvold has a few tricks of his own.

But enough chit-chat. Have a look at Dawn of the Planet of the Zombies and the Giant Killer Plants and hope that this thing finds its way to the big screen sometime soon.
