The 6 Most Disturbing Horror Movies On Hulu Right Now

I love canceling on my friends to watch horror movies alone. I’m getting ready to ghost the squad this weekend and have my eye on Hulu, especially their more nasty offerings. I started building my list and felt compelled to share this cute little streaming guide. Some of you might want to spend the next 48 hours internally screaming, too!

Crimes Of The Future (2022)

David Cronenberg gave us one of the most uncomfortable movies of the last year, and society moved on way too soon. He’s got people eating plastic, public surgeries, and very severe body modifications. I highly suggest you watch this one from under a weighted blanket.

Haunt (2019)

I have a special place in my heart for horror movies set on Halloween. However, this one goes too far. A haunted house feeding on your darkest fears? You want me to pay so you can expose my intrusive thoughts in public? Even if the night didn’t end with people dying, there was no way to come back from this.

The Lodge (2019)

Two kids fuck around and find out with their dad’s new fiancé. Not only does being snowed in with strangers sound like hell but the brats wanted to play mind games with a woman who is not here for their shenanigans. This movie will kill your weekend vibes…and your spirit.

The Sacrament (2013)

A news team finds themselves in a commune where the leader doesn’t seem keen on having guests. Y’all let Ti West make a found footage movie about a cult. You deserve to have your weekend ruined for not vetoing that immediately.

Titane (2021)

I know what the synopsis claims this movie is about, but it’s so much more than that. Julia Ducournau chose violence when she made this unexplainable movie. It gave a whole new meaning to car sex before swerving into so many other lanes that it gave me whiplash. Thank you Hulu for serving this up for unsuspecting horror fans.

We Need To Do Something (2021)

Hell is being trapped in a bathroom with your immediate family. However, the special level is where supernatural things are happening on the other side of the door you cannot open. This movie is a whole lot of hell no. If you truly want to make sure your weekend has no joy, then this is the movie to kill your fun vibes.

Let me know if I missed your favorite Hulu horror movie guaranteed to wreck your weekend vibes at @misssharai. Also, let me know if you plan to check any of these out this week.
