Since April kicks off with a day dedicated to practical jokers, we decided to make this a month of horror comedies–no fooling! We figured we could all use some levity these days, what with self-quarantine and social distancing becoming the norm. Hopefully, these flicks will keep you in pleasant spirits as we look forward to warmer, safer days. I’ve restricted my selections to horror-comedies released in the 21st Century, just to keep things focused and (for the most part) current.

Ask yourself: Are you a horror fan who lives every day like it’s Halloween? Do you have the gumption and the stamina to consume a new horror movie every day for an entire year? If so, feast your eyes on April’s 30-day horror challenge below. Let us know you’re participating by using the hashtag #YearOfDread2020 on Social Media!

Did your favorite 21st Century horror-comedy make the list? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram! You can also carry on the convo with me personally on Twitter @josh_millican.
