Today’s the day! For those of you who have been hungry for a new take on Bigfoot-themed horror, DREAD is thrilled to bring you Hoax, the debut feature-length film from Matt Allen. Out today, the film can be seen on a wide variety of online platforms as well as being available on Blu-ray. All links can be found below.
“An investigative team travels deep into the wilderness after a group of young campers are viciously murdered and linked to Bigfoot. The highly specialized crew search for evidence and fight to survive the powerful beast. If they work together they may live to prove the existence of Bigfoot, but what they discover may be more unexpected and dangerous than anything they could have imagined.“
Directed by Matt Allen, who co-wrote with Scott Park, Hoax stars Cheryl Texiera, Ben Browder, Brian Thompson, and Adrienne Barbeau. The soundtrack was composed by frequent John Carpenter collaborator Alan Howarth.
