JUSTICE LEAGUE Actor Ray Fisher Wants to Be the Next BLADE

Wesley Snipes isn’t the only one chomping at the bit for a Blade reboot. Justice League actor Ray Fisher (who played Cyborg) would also love to see the franchise revived. They only thing is, Fisher wants to be the titular vampire slayer! Not only would this mean dethroning the Snipes, but he’d also probably be the first actor to transition from DC to the MCU. The news was reported by Super Bros. Movies who caught Fisher on a panel at Celebrity FanFest.
With the R-rated superhero movies gaining popularity, the time is definitely right for a Blade reboot. Fans may be divided, however, on wether Snipes should continue playing the lead character or if it’s time to pass the torch.

Blade is directed by Stephen Norrington from a screenplay penned by David S. Goyer. In addition to Snipes, the film stars Stephen Dorff and Kris Kristofferson.
