Stephen King Knows Why Everyone is Hating So Hard on GAME OF THRONES Season 8 & Finale

With zombies, dragons, and brutal battle sequences, HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones has managed to seduce quite a few horror fans during its eight-season run. But even though this most recent season (its final) has been exceptional, many long-time viewers have been extremely dissatisfied with it–and Stephen King thinks he knows why.

Here’s what he tweeted out late last week:

It’s true: No matter who was destined to ascend the iron throne last night (no spoilers here) some camps would have been dissatisfied. But King hits the nail on the heads, basically equating fans’ hatred of Season 8 to separation anxiety. Can it really be over? Yup, it is.

Except for the three Game of Thrones spinoffs currently in pre-production, so…
