For a lucky few of you, tomorrow is a good day to be dead; that’s when Valve releases their public demo of Left 4 Dead, their new co-op zombie game which hits stores November 17th. To celebrate, Valve has release the first 15 minutes of gameplay, which you can feast upon below!
Danny Leiner, the man who showed us that both road trip movies and Neil Patrick Harris can be funny again with Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, signed a deal during AFM to bring us another bizarre comedy that will make horror fans stand up and moan: The Corporate Zombie Killers.
Independently made zombie films are the scourge of our genre. The scourge, I tell ya. I would love to see a moratorium put on them for a period of no less than five years, just to force indies to do something different.
And the AFM goodies continue! Next up: Two looks at what we can expect from … of the Dead, George A. Romero's newest installment in the Dead mythos. And it's a better look now thanks to Andrew's providing us with clearer images.
Over the weekend, we did a story linking back to an article in USA Today about Romero’s new Dead film, which is wrapping up shooting in Toronto in the next few days. A line from said article stated that characters from both Land and Diary of the Dead would be returning in the new movie, which seems to have got some fans in a tizzy already.
The first still from Romero’s next zombie opus, which we’re now officially referring to as Island of the Dead until we’re told otherwise, showed up on Halloween over at USA Today, of all places, as well as a bit
A bunch of new behind-the-scenes stills from the upcoming French zombie movie La Horde have shown up over at Cinema Fantastique and as you can see from the sample on the right, they’re pretty damn sexy! In a gory, blood-drenched kinda way, of course...
For those of us Dead faithful out there eagerly anticipating George A. Romero's latest trip into the world of the flesh eater, it's time to rejoice! The film finally has a name! At least, according to IMDB...
All right, so maybe I’m a little behind in pointing this out to you guys, but hopefully I’ll be forgiven since October is a notoriously crazy month for us, as you know.
This past April I first reported on a horror movie in the works called Crawler, a sort-of updating of the notorious 1970's TV movie Killdozer. Info was scarce at the time, but now we've got new info on the plot, awesome new promotional artwork, and a new teaser trailer. Not every rampaging bulldozer movie you see where the dozer has tentacles.
