Released in 1978, quite obscure today, Matilda was a silly box office bomb starring Elliott Gould as a hard luck agent promoting a boxing kangaroo named 'Matilda' looking to challenge the heavyweight boxing champion. The movie might be even more notorious as the film that nearly killed the McDonald's Happy Meal.

This really should have been last Friday's WTF video given the date. Oh, well. Posting this on the wrong date is probably how David Lynch would have wanted it anyway.

I'll say it again. Whenever you're looking for a perfect WTF video for Friday, there's no place better to turn than Japanese television. One of the most popular Japanese superheroes is the insectoid motorcycle-riding, ascot-wearing, high-kicking Kamen Rider. And only in Japan will you find a kid's show where the villain is a genetic hybrid of Adolph Hitler and a starfish.

Sometimes you just have to fall back on a classic. If you haven't previously seen this wonderfully *bleep*ed up video, then today is your lucky day.

This week's video pulls off the rare double whammy of WTF-ness. As if a music video showcasing the pro wrestling career of a guy who wrestled back in the early Nineties dressed like Freddy Krueger wasn't strange enough, the absurd song accompanying the video of Freddy going buck wild in a wrestling ring is a novelty song called "Do The Freddy" featuring cackling by Robert Englund himself.

With "America's Got Talent" in full swing, we figured we'd showcase a little talent from around the world. Our kind of talent. You know, the kind that leaves you shrieking and wondering when this hell will end, if ever!
