This scribe hit the black carpet of Rachel Belofsky’s 2009 Screamfest in Hollywood, CA, last night for a screening of Declan O’Brien’s Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (review here), and to interview the director. In anticipation of its October 20th Blu-ray and DVD release, Fox has released a five-minute clip from Wrong Turn 3 in which the crazed mutant cannibal known as Three Finger runs a prison bus off the side of the road and then proceeds to start shooting arrows at the hapless passengers.
Where has this year gone? It seems like just yesterday we were first telling you about Declan O'Brien's entry into the Wrong Turn franchise, Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead and now its October 20th release is nipping at our heels!
There was a time when I'd buy or watch a movie just because of its cover, but lately cover-art has become a dying art as of late populated by pensive looking teens and floating heads. Sometimes it's good to be teased, and Fox's teaser one-sheet for Declan O'Brien's Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead delivers the goods on all counts. In fact, we'd hazard to say if they went for floating heads instead of this, the person who makes that decision should be fired!
Everyone loves a deformed and bloodthirsty hillbilly. The horror genre is proof positive of that. Over the last several years the Wrong Turn series has delivered all manner of mayhem, and come this September and October you'll be able to sample all of the carnage in full 1080p!
