Will Arnett, Michael Shannon Join Jonah Hex

I must say that the big screen adaptation of DC Comics’ “>Jonah Hex series is definitely shaping up quite nicely! Well, at least in terms of the cast involved.
THR reported today that funny dude Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”, Blades of Glory) and the recently Oscar-nominated Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road, Bug) have both joined the Hex cast, which already boasts an impressive line-up with John Malkovich, Josh Brolin, and uber-hottie Megan Fox.
Arnett is set to play the Union soldier that recruits Hex (Brolin), and Shannon will be taking on the role of Doc Cross Williams, a seriously deranged circus leader that heads up a gladiator-style event.
This will mark Arnett’s first leap from comedy into horror films. Shannon definitely made his mark in the horror genre through his brutally paranoid performance in Bug.
