Believe it or not, it's been over a year since last there was anything to report regarding the latest historical horror mash-up, but lo and behold a trailer has come our way for FDR: American Badass. Check it out!

No doubt looking to capitalize on the burgeoning trend of melding classic literature and historical figures with horror (i.e., Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), now America's 32nd President will be getting in on the monster fighting action in FDR: American Badass.

Wasn't there a "South Park" episode not that long ago about Goth kids getting pissed off that their style was getting ripped off by a bunch of poseurs inspired by Twilight to dress and act like soulful vampires? Real-life Goth kids might want to seriously consider following their animated counterparts in burning down Hot Topic because I Was a Teenage Werewolf has officially become a lifestyle fad, and we have the news video to prove it.

The news today tends to be depressing, but sometimes a story comes across the police blotter that is just ... weird. Such is the case of a story out of Washington State earlier this week about cops detaining a crazy, sword-swinging hunter of movie monsters.

It was only a matter of time. Here's the deal, and we're just going to have to accept it: If a movie is even slightly good or has even the tiniest of cult followings, Hollywood is going to remake it. There's just no doubt of this anymore.
