Horror fiends were out in full force when the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention stormed the Los Angeles Convention Center this past weekend. As usual, Fango gave genre fans a lot to keep them busy over the three-day event.

Earlier this week we pointed you in the direction of the Fearsome Fango Film Show Line-Up for the upcoming Los Angeles Weekend of Horrors running April 17-19, 2009. Now that the full event schedule is live, we thought we'd point out a few "choice cuts" (i.e., those panels that we here at Dread Central are either moderating, participating in, or just generally think you shouldn't miss).

While they put the finishing touches on the panel schedule for this weekend's Los Angeles Weekend of Horrors, the folks at Fangoria have just released the line-up for the Fearsome Fango Film Show (running all three days: Friday in Room 502 A, second floor; Saturday & Sunday in Room 501 A-C, second floor; both located in West Hall B).

Premiere Props announced today that they will be hosting a massive auction of never before seen movie props and costumes with Fangoria and Creation Entertainment for the Fangoria Live Auction at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors.

This weekend at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Chicago, George A. Romero was one of the featured special guests. Not only did the esteemed Godfather of Zombie Films give genre fanatics a taste of his new film ...Of The Dead, but he also answered fan questions. One topic that came up was Romero’s involvement with the remake of The Crazies.
