We here at Dread Central are big supporters of the Winchester Boys and their show "Supernatural" so any time we get a chance to spread the word about what is probably the best horror themed show on TV right now next to "The Walking Dead" we take it!
Regardless of what you thought of "Supernatural" being extended past its creator, Eric Kripke's, original five-years-and-out plan, you can't deny that Season Six ended on a high note. Or maybe you've been waiting for the home video release to catch up. In either event, here's an early peek at the cover art for said DVD/Blu-ray release. Dig it!
This is a huge week for West Coast fans of Joel Schumacher’s classic flick The Lost Boys as Corey Feldman (known to fans all over the world as Edgar Frog) is readying his classic rock inspired band Truth Movement for an unprecedented entertainment experience - "The Lost Boys Ball" - featuring the iconic 1987 film being presented to fans while Feldman’s band plays.

Know what was pretty shocking? I totally expected to hate "The Vampire Diaries" but gave it a shot while jonesing for my "Supernatural" fix and ended up getting hooked. Yes, it has all of the elements for the tweener crowd, but people get slaughtered on the show at the drop of a dime! Seemingly everyone is on the menu, and you gotta respect that. Not to mention it had one of the best damned season finales I've seen in forever.
Other than Fox's Alien box set our most looked forward to Blu-ray release of the year is without question Warner Brothers' high definition treatment of The Exorcist. The set is just stacked from top to bottom, and if you need any more convincing, then dig on the following trailer.
