Selling Isobel Trailer Takes a Harrowing Look at the Sex Trade

Director Rudolf Buitendach’s upcoming thriller Selling Isobel tackles the very real day-to-day horrors of the sex trade. Based on a true story, the film takes a deep, dark look into a world most of us will thankfully never experience. And judging from the trailer embedded below, Buitendach and the folks at Development Hell Pictures aren’t pulling any punches with the material.
Synopsis:
Sex trade thriller Selling Isobel is based on the true story of a pilates teacher who is kidnapped and used as a slave in the sex trade. She struggles for her life in the hopes of being reunited with her husband and young daughter.
In addition to Frida Farrell, the film also stars Amber Benson, Matthew Marsden, Gabriel Olds, Stelio Savante, Alyson Stoner, and Lew Temple, who is giving off some seriously creepy vibes in the trailer and images you see down below. We don’t have a release date for Selling Isobel to share just yet, but we’ll keep you posted when one comes our way.
