Mirage: Arcane Warfare Behind-the-Scenes Video Showcases the Extreme Blood and Gore System

If you’ve ever played Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, you will no doubt remember that one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game was the copious amount of blood and gore that splashed across the screen as you slaughtered your foes. Yup, it sure wasn’t a game for the faint of heart.

And developer Torn Banner Studios isn’t going a softer route for its next title either. Hell no! As the behind-the-scenes video below shows, Mirage: Arcane Warfare contains such an extreme amount of gore that they’ve clearly outdone themselves. They talk about how they wanted to make the graphic violence as strong as possible, and all I can say is that they clearly deserve a strong pat on the back.

Essentially, Mirage will have a similar gameplay style to Chivalry, albeit with the inclusion of magic. Your main objective will be to use destructive spells to vanquish your enemies, with playable classes including mages, assassins, and brutes. The OTT graphic violence will play a huge part in the game, with realistic physics mechanics even determining the way that a severed limb falls to the ground.

Head over to Mirage: Arcane Warfare’s official website to get in on some of the blood-soaked action.
