Two movies nobody asked for. Both films made in a few days for an amount of cash less than the size of most film's food budgets. One franchise with a character who despite some really inane sequels remains one of the most beloved in the horror genre. The other ... well the other comes from a franchise we're not even sure anyone really watches. How did they stack up?

Never let it be said that we don't willingly take bullets for you guys. Even though we know something is going to be abysmal, we go in open-minded, white-knuckle grab onto our seats, and brace ourselves for whatever may come.

Similar to what's going on with Children of the Corn: The Dweller, word just broke that the next chapter in the Hellraiser franchise, Hellraiser: Revelations, is undergoing some reshoots of its own.

Ever since Doug Bradley announced he would not be donning the Pins once again in this latest Hellraiser sequel, the fanbase has been on fire with questions, disdain, and speculation. So which demons to some, angels to others will we be seeing in the new flick? An answer has come.

Having survived a buffeting Southern electrical storm en route from Los Angeles to Baton Rouge, this writer touched down in Louisiana on December 14 of 2009 and, following a rather eerie stroll through a seemingly abandoned airport and a ride with a cabbie whose previous fare had been arrested, arrived unscathed to the set of the then-shooting feature Mirrors 2.

The next film in the Hellraiser franchise is moving along at a breakneck pace. So far we know that "La Femme Nikita"'s Peta Wilson has already signed on to the cast and that Doug Bradley will not be back as Pinhead.

There's been talk of a Hellraiser remake for several years now, and throughout that time many different names had been associated with it. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you're looking at it) things never worked out and the project laid dormant. Yet, now a new standalone film is apparently on its way.
