Usually at about this time of the day on Friday, we're putting up a sneak peek or two of the weekend's upcoming "True Blood" episode. But alas, the show is taking this Sunday off due to the Labor Day holiday before returning on September 13th with the season finale. But that doesn't mean you can't still have your fix of Sookie, Bill, Eric, and the rest of the gang. Read on for more.

Halo-8 Entertainment has secured the rights for award-winning director Matt Pizzolo and Emmy-winning producer Brian Giberson to create an "illustrated film" adaptation of Loaded Bible: Jesus vs. Vampires, a post-nuke horror comic book published by Image Comics and created by Tim Seeley. A 2010 theatrical release is planned for the film.

A real quick update for you guys concerning Blood - The Last Vampire and its DVD/BD release. We already told you about the street date and special features (story here), but today you can glimpse the fairly predictable cover art.

We reported earlier that Jay Woelfel's Live Evil had won an theatrical release of 300 screens starting September 18th, as well as a DVD release in mid-November.
