Vampire Diaries

There's regular eye candy, and then there's eye candy of "The Vampire Diaries" variety. EW has unveiled its three covers for this week's issue featuring Stefan, Damon, and Elena, and smokin' hot just begins to describe them. But first, how about a look at Episode 3.14, "Dangerous Liaisons", with exec producer Julie Plec and co-exec producer Caroline Dries?

“Plucky Pennywhistle’s Magical Menagerie”. Say that three times fast! What is it? The title of the February 10th episode of "Supernatural", the synopsis of which you'll find right here, along with those for "The Vampire Diaries" Episode 3.14, "Dangerous Liaisons", and "The Secret Circle" Episode 1.14, "Valentine", both of which air on The CW February 9th.

"Smallville" alum Cassidy Freeman, who thought she had a nice recurring role on "The Playboy Club" until that show got axed, has now landed a part on The CW's "The Vampire Diaries", which has the potential to go multi-episode. Hef's loss is our gain!

Earlier today we got our first look at the upcoming Episode 3.12, "The Ties That Bind", of "The Vampire Diaries" via the ep's teaser trailer, and now The CW has released a clip along with a new video congratulating star Nina Dobrev on her recent People's Choice Award win. Not only is it well deserved, but the versatile Nina is the event's first write-in winner ever!

The "TVD" preview is hosted by executive producer Julie Plec and co-executive producer Caroline Dries while the "TSC" preview finds executive producer Andrew Miller outlining some of his characters' desires.

The votes are in, the show is over, and we have the horror tally from the January 11th broadcast of the 2012 People's Choice Awards. While the genre didn't have a great showing, we can hold our heads high thanks to a couple of staples from The CW.
