For those of you who have not had the pleasure of seeing Black Sheep (review) yet, be patient; your wait is more than worth it as this is a damn fun movie. A lot of this fun comes from the script, which was penned by director Jonathan King, so I was psyched when I found another of his script is in the process of making it to our shores, though it does sound far more serious than Sheep
The film is called The Tattooist and stars “Roswell” side of beef Jason Behr, and the New Zealand site Black Magic just got somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 stills from the film, as well as the poster, and at the same time Yahoo! Xtra got the first look at the trailer for the film.
The Tattooist is the tale of a young man (Behr) who is an expert tattoo artist and journeys to learn the ancient Samoan art of tatau. Unwittingly he unleashes a horde of evil in the process.
