Coming onto the horror scene in 2007 with The Signal and continuing to impress with the segment “Amateur Night” from 2012’s V/H/S, David Bruckner returns with the thriller Intrusion, which has just acquired the first piece of its casting puzzle!

According to The Wrap, British actress Tuppence Middleton has signed on to play single photographer Lila Harper, whose dreams of a happy, independent life are shattered when she becomes the target of organized stalkers who mysteriously invade her home and her entire life.

Buckner will direct a script written by L.D. Goffigan.

Synopsis:
A young woman’s life begins to unravel shortly after moving to San Francisco, when she realizes she’s being pursued by a disturbed stalker. As the assaults and creepy incidents escalate, she realizes that she has become the target of something far more sinister and horrifying.
