Finally this week we got an episode of "True Blood" that felt a bit more like the show of old. Sure, there are still too many characters to keep track of, but the pacing was brisk and the storylines were interesting. The jury's still out on this season of HBO's "True Blood". For some of us there are just too many storylines we don't care about while others enjoy them all. In any event, everyone should appreciate a quick recap of Ep. 40, "I'm Alive and on Fire", along with a look Inside the Episode, and per usual we also have a preview of next week's "Me and the Devil".
As Dread Central's resident awards show junkie, I'm happy to report that while horror didn't make a super strong showing in this year's Emmy Awards nominations, it did make a respectable one. The horror-themed goods at Comic-Con just got a lot bigger and better with the confirmation of Friday, July 22's panel schedule, which includes some of our returning favorite and most anticipated new TV shows such as "The Walking Dead", "True Blood", "Bedlam" and "The River" along with films like Raven, Underworld 4, Fright Night, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Attack the Block.
After the events of the last episode of "True Blood", we assume the person dyin' in the title of Episode 39 is Jason Stackhouse, but you can never be too sure. So join us in checking out these three clips from "If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin'?" to see if they shed any light on the subject.
