I really hate the fact that I need a passport to get into Canada these days (stupid security precautions – I don’t want to be safe, I want to watch horror movies!) because the Toronto After Dark Festival has an incredibly badass lineup of flicks announced thus far!

The Toronto After Dark Film Festival has announced its 2009 Call For Film Entries. The fest welcomes submissions of all forms of international and independent thrilling cinema including horror, sci-fi, fantasy, animation, crime, action, cult, documentary, and music videos.

I’ve only been to Toronto once, but man, someday I will make it back there. Not only is it one of the coolest cities north of the Border, it’s also home to Rue Morgue and the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. Why can’t Boston be that cool?
