One of the mostly highly anticipated movies of the blockbuster season this year is Rise of the Planet of the Apes directed by Rupert Wyatt and starring James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, David Oyelowo and Andy Serkis as ape prime himself, Caesar.
It's gone through several different titles thus far from meh to not too shabby, but it looks as if the latest entry into the much beloved Planet of the Apes franchise has officially found its identity.
The line between human and damned dirty ape is indeed a thin one. One that no doubt one day will be crossed when we blow it all up and the apes inherit the Earth. That's kind of the way things go in the new Planet of the Apes film, Rise of the Apes, and we've got your first look at the kingpin runnin' this here monkey farm.
Remember when Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes was scheduled for a summer release but was then bumped back to a fall premiere? Yeah, things change, and it looks as if Fox is once again banking on that ever so special blockbuster time of the year.
Looks like we're going to be waiting a bit longer than first anticipated for Dark Castle's next ghostly cinematic gathering for Warner Bros.
Yep, the very first image from 20th Century Fox's Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes is here, and we just wish it was a bit more exciting. Then again, I suppose if you're into looking at James Franco studying, then this is your lucky day!
It looks like the summer of 2011 is short one blockbuster as 20th Century Fox has opted to push back the release date of its upcoming Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes from June 24th to Thanksgiving weekend, November 23rd.
Tom Felton, who is best known as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, spoke a little bit about his upcoming film, Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes, and we like what we're hearing. We like it a lot!
Sebastian Stan might not be a household name, but as a result of his being cast as Bucky in the new Captain America, that's about to change. And lest anyone forget, a few months after the Captain's July, 2011, release date, he's headlining a horror flick entitled The Apparition, which he calls "a mixture of The Strangers and Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist."
One flick we're hoping stands a ghost of a chance at the box office next year is Todd Lincoln's The Apparition. Though we revealed the first two images from the film last week, information has been pretty scant thus far. However, that changed a bit today.
We just got our hands on the first hi-res stills from Todd Lincoln's new spooker for Dark Castle, The Apparition, and being that we're approaching the time of year where giving is the in thing to do, we figured we'd share!
