Lionsgate's doing something a little different with the latest poster for Saw 3D. They're asking fans to visit the Saw Facebook page, "like" them in order to see the poster, and then share it with their friends. The press release explains it a bit better:
Some films lend themselves to video games very well. Some do not. You won't see Piranha 3D: The Game anytime soon, where you dodged dismembered penises as they fly at your screen. (No matter how much Uncle Creepy would enjoy that.) Saw, however, was an obvious match. Puzzles, mysteries, gore, all the good things in gaming except rocket launchers.

There are few films coming out later this year that have as big or as interesting of a behind-the-scenes story as Kevin Greutert's Saw 3D. The Saw vs. Paranormal Activity rivalry has been well documented online, and we've all sifted through the dirty laundry. In the end we're sure Greutert will deliver once more so there's a lot to be excited about ... speaking of which ...
Though Lionsgate rarely tips its hand with regard to casting and plot points for the Saw movies, a bit of possible casting news has hit the net that's pretty interesting.
Today's the day, folks! Saw VII begins principal photography with Kevin Greutert at its helm. This comes as a bit of a bittersweet pill. For one thing Saw fans should be thrilled as Kevin made Part VI one of the best of the series; however, the man's heart was set on making Paranormal Activity 2 for Paramount. All in all, we're sure he'll still make the best movie possible. Just a shame he had to be douched into making it.
The first casting news from the already controversial seventh entry into the Saw franchise, Saw VII in 3D, has hit the net and it yields no shockers. Yet, that is.
