Netflix and Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio has secured its killer cast including newcomer Gregory Mann as Pinocchio, Ewan McGregor (Doctor Sleep) as Jiminy Cricket, and David Bradley (The Lodgers) as Gepetto.
The rest of the cast includes Tilda Swinton (Snowpiercer), Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Cate Blanchett (Thor: Ragnarok), John Turturro (Barton Fink), Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen), Burn Gorman (Crimson Peak), and Ron Perlman (Hellboy).

Netflix released this description: “Set during the rise of Fascism in Mussolini’s Italy, Pinocchio — a musical directed by del Toro and Mark Gustafson (Fantastic Mr. Fox) with a score by Alexandre Desplat — is a story of love and disobedience as Pinocchio struggles to live up to his father’s expectations.”
Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio is set to hit Netflix in 2021.
