Cannibal strippers. Those two words paired together were enough to get this writer’s attention when I initially heard about the upcoming film Stripped, a film about a family of women who give some intruders more than they bargained for when they end up inside the deadly trio’s home.
Here at Dread Central we work pretty friggin' quickly to make sure that you sickos are as up-to-date as possible in regard to the things going bump in the night in our genre. Just hours ago we showed you the UK quad poster for Night of the Demons (review here) remake from director Adam Gierasch and writer Jace Anderson, and now we've got a bunch of sexy and gory stills for you to drool over.
Oh, how we envy our friends in the UK from time to time. While we have to settle for home video, they're getting to see the Night of the Demons (review here) remake from director Adam Gierasch and writer Jace Anderson on the big screen. Le sigh.

During Halo-8 Entertainment's Saturday night panel "Illustrated Films & Comics" at the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con, writer/director Matt Pizzolo made the announcement that breakout hit comic book and illustrated film Godkiller is making the leap to franchise status with the production of a spin-off series, Godkiller: Adventures in Outer City.
One of my favorite parts of last week's San Diego Comic-Con was getting to catch up with Night of the Demons director Adam Adam Gierasch and writer Jace Anderson to help unveil the movie's official artwork. The flick looks damned good, and the original has been a staple in the Creepy household forever so to say I'm excited for this movie is an understatement. Even more exciting? This brand new gore-filled still!

2010 has been a little light on the horror scene thus far, but 2011 is shaping up quite nicely. Dead of Night Films just sent out a press release for its upcoming film Hallow Pointe, which features a genre heavy cast (including myself) and some teaser art! Dig it!
Well then. This is kind of depressing. Instead of the theatrical run they had been talking about, E1 Entertainment announced today that Adam Gierasch's long awaited Night of the Demons remake will get a home video release on October 19th, 2010. At least we're getting a Blu-ray and the film won't be just sitting on the shelf for too much longer.
Some nifty and arousing casting news has just come in! Porn sensation Michelle "Belladonna" Sinclair is set to make her mainstream feature film debut in John Wildman's latest horror flick Stripped, which is set to film in Dallas this fall.
As we reported previously, Halo-8 has taken Matt Pizzolo's "illustrated film" Godkiller on the road via its own You-Demand-It Theatrical Tour, and if you live in or around the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area, you could win a pair of tickets to the June 4th screening.
Halo-8 and Matt Pizzolo's "illustrated film" Godkiller has added eight cities to its You-Demand-It Theatrical Tour, and in addition word has come down from their VOD partner, Gravitas Ventures, that 19 of the 20 major cable VOD providers have selected the film for their summer programming, ensuring it will be available in over 75 million homes starting May 25th.
If you weren't already stoked for Adam Gierasch's Night of the Demons remake (review here), we're pretty damn confident you will be after seeing these new slices of demonic mayhem!
The third and final episode of Matt Pizzolo's "illustrated film" Godkiller: Walk Among Us is being released April 20th, but that's not the biggest news. Halo-8 has announced the full-length feature version will premiere at Chicago's C2E2 (the new comic-con/pop-culture mega-event produced by the team behind NY Comic-Con), and to celebrate, they have put together a new trailer!
You would expect that with a title like Sickle, the film would be about a sickle-wielding killer. "Sickle" is actually the name of the psycho violent policeman Kane Hodder plays, and that name spells a lot of trouble for Tiffany Shepis.
