The Walking Dead: A Look Ahead to the Second Half of Season 2; A Sneak Peek of Episode 2.08 - Nebraska
Still reeling from last night's mid-season finale of "The Walking Dead"? We had an inkling of what was going to transpire, but nothing quite prepared us for the visceral impact the last few scenes would have. But that's all water under the bridge (or, rather, blood in front of the barn); what we want to know now is how the second half of the season can possibly top the drama and excitement of the first.
When it comes to creating jaw-dropping special make-up effects in movies, it doesn't get any better than the work by Greg Nicotero, one of the masters of KNB EFX, who have been responsible for some of the biggest and best effects of the last 25 years in the industry.
If you're not caught up on AMC's "The Walking Dead" Season Two, then you just may want to skip this story entirely. If you are, then this is a juicy one. Read on for news about the latest hissy fit.
Maybe those fan-made images of "The Walking Dead" cast we posted earlier today were a bit prophetic as it turns out one member of the cast was ready to leave after the Darabont controversy. So where does that leave this person now?
Here it is, folks. Exhibit A of why we love doing what we do - you guys! The horror fanbase is the most passionate in the world, and we strive to not only meet but honor that passion. Case in point: the following images began circulating around the interwebs from an artist who is as of yet unknown. They focus on what our dearly beloved "Walking Dead" heroes would look like if they were ... well ... dearly departed. Check it out!
Yep, here's another "The Walking Dead" story for this Monday afternoon, but considering that after the November 27th episode, entitled "Pretty Much Dead Already", we won't be getting another until February 12th, we'll definitely take what we can get right now!
The Walking Dead comic purists like yours truly certainly must have raised an eyebrow or two at the turn of events in last night's episode of "The Walking Dead" TV series involving Shane (who's not even supposed to be there!) and Andrea; but hey, I'm a firm believer that change is always good so I'm willing to just go with it for now. Let's see what Andrea herself (Laurie Holden) has to say about her character arc, her shooting skills, and attaining a Zen-like calm.
Tonight we got another tense, well executed episode of "The Walking Dead" on AMC, which just makes it all that much harder to accept that next Sunday night's ep serves as the mid-season finale of the show. Check out a teaser trailer and clip from Episode 2.07, "Pretty Much Dead Already", in which the future of Rick and the survivors at the farm looks pretty darn bleak.
If you didn't watch last weekend's episode of the hit AMC series based upon the Robert Kirkman zombie epic "The Walking Dead", we suggest you skip reading this story right now. For those of you all caught up however ...
The Walking Dead: Synopsis and Stills from Episode 2.06 - Secrets and a Look at the Show's Panel During ZomBCon 2011
Haven't gotten your full fix of "The Walking Dead" yet despite our posting earlier today of some previews from the upcoming Episode 2.06, "Secrets"? How about a peek at a few stills, the ep's official synopsis, and a panel with Norman Reedus and Melissa Cowan from ZomBcon 2011?
Despite the fact that Norman Reedus' character, Daryl Dixon, doesn't appear in The Walking Dead comics, he's become a fan favorite on "The Walking Dead" TV series, and with good reason. He kicks copious amounts of ass! Read on for AMC's latest Q&A with Reedus in which he discusses Daryl's zombie ear necklace and why it's impossible to not look cool with a crossbow.

2011 is starting to wind down, which means it's time for all the various awards shows to begin rearing their heads. First up are the People's Choice Awards, which for some reason ditched the Favorite Horror Movie category they instituted last year, but we won't hold that against them too much since "The Walking Dead" made the cut for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show.
We stumbled upon a cool post today that we just had to share with you. Have you ever wondered what goes into the creation of a zombie from "The Walking Dead"? Take a look at a step-by-step pictorial that shows actor Kevin Galbraith going from a regular handsome guy to a flesh-craving zombie.
A lot happened in last night's episode of "The Walking Dead", including the best zombie gag of the season so far. And was that Merle we saw in the teaser for next week? We'll just have to bide our time until Episode 2.05, "Chupacabra", airs for the details, and what better way to do that than by reading another Q&A with one of the cast members? On tap today we have Steven Yeun (Glenn).
