‘The Seeding’ Trailer Is The Stuff Of Nightmares

If you’re looking for an uncanny fever dream in the desert, look no further than writer and director Barnaby Clay‘s new film The Seeding.
In The Seeding, “A hiker lost in the desert takes refuge with a woman living alone, and soon discovers that she might not be there willingly.”

Clay said of his new film, “The Seeding deals with big themes, but in a small, contained way, almost like a brutal adult version of a children’s story or fable—something to bore under your skin and stick around for a while. I hope, like all great horror, it speaks some truth about human nature, even if it’s a side we’d rather not see.”
Scott Haze (Venom) and Kate Lyn Sheil (You’re Next, V/H/S/) star in the film.
If you need more convincing, in his review from the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, Dread Central’s Chad Collins wrote, “The Seeding is a terrifying primal scream across scorched earth and one of the year’s most confident debuts.”
The Seeding comes to theaters and VOD on January 26, 2024, from Magnet Releasing.
