Yeah, remember back in April of 2012 when we reported that current WWE champion Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was going to be the lead character in Warner Brothers' big screen adaptation of Lobo? No? Well that's okay. WB doesn't remember that either.
It's been a couple of months since last there was anything to report regarding the feature film debut of DC Comics' intergalactic badass bounty hunter Lobo, but alas, a logline has come. Read on for what the flick will be about!
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson makes headlines wherever he goes because, well, he's The Rock, and that's all your candy ass needs to know. Over the weekend at Comic-Con the people's champ confirmed his Lobo involvement via Twitter.
Interesting rumors are coming in. A week or so ago news came that Warner Brothers was looking to bring Lobo to the big screen. Then a few days ago Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hinted via his Twitter account he'd be playing a DC Comics character on the big screen. And now the third piece of the puzzle is here...
Another trailer has surfaced for director Brad Peyton's Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, and while the horror elements are probably going to be miniscule, we love The Rock so much we just can't ignore this flick!
One thing we pride ourselves on at Dread Central is how many of our staff members have spread their wings and tried other things besides giving you the best news and review coverage we can. That being said, it's with great pleasure that we debut the first (and supposedly only) directorial effort from our own Heather Wixson, her short film Paper Rock, Scissors.
What does it say about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s movie career that he is now starring in Brendan Fraser’s sloppy seconds? Probably that he could use a nice paycheck just like Michael Caine, Vanessa Hudgens, Kristin Davis, and Luis Guzman, as you’ll see in this trailer for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
No, your eyes aren't lying. We have a story about Race to Witch Mountain here on Dread Central. Why? Because we were offered a chance to talk to "The Rock". Would you say no? Didn't think so.
The folks over at Trailer Addict just got a look at the poster for the questionable remake Race to Witch Mountain. I call it questionable both because one has to wonder if a remake was necessary and how valid its inclusion on our site is. But it’s here, so you’re just going to have to deal with it, ain’t cha?
The first trailer for Race to Witch Mountain, the new, re-imagined, updated and reconfigured version of Escape to Witch Mountain, is now live and kicking over at Yahoo! Movies, so go check it out!
Well, there goes any desire I had to give the new Witch Mountain a chance. I mean sure it’s a kids movie so you have to expect some level of stunt casting but this?
