Rock of the Dead Slaying Zombies on Your Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PS3!

Well well well, there’s a new shooter coming to Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and PS3 … with a twist. Featuring the voices of Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day, and Rob Zombie, Rock of The Dead is a marriage of zombie first-person shooter and rhythm game which also features music from Zombie himself. Think Left 4 Dead meets Rock Band with a dash of Mars Attacks!
How it works:
When you see the enemy, a RB/GH looking musical staff will come up. Hit the right notes, make some killer music to vanquish the dead (i.e., dead guys, creepy crawlies, UFOs, etc.) and don’t get eaten. Doesn’t get any plainer than that. I just wonder if both Guitar Hero and Rock Band guitars are compatible … I would assume so, but you know what they say about that shit.
Will this game be fun? Judging from the trailer, you bet. It’s an odd enough concept to pique my interest enough to request a review copy and see what happens.
Will it continue to be fun once the novelty wears off? I guess we’ll find out on October 19th!
