The Raven
First we get a new release date, and now comes a brand spanking new poster for The Raven. See how quickly things work around here. Good thing we all jog in our human-sized habitrail in between stories so we can stay pumped up!
Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a black bird! It's a black bird flying off with a new release date! Yep, that's right, kids. The Raven is the next flick to do the old release date shuffle.
Excited to see John Cusack play the great Edgar Allan Poe in the upcoming flick The Raven? Good! Then you'll be doubly excited to hear that a new international trailer has made its way online with new footage!
What you are about to listen to – should you dare to listen to it – is not a Dinner For Fiends podcast. This is a DFF that turned into a Foycast that turned into obscenity-laden chaos. You will hear what happens when absolutely everything goes wrong. And you will hear what happens when Uncle Creepy is terrorized by a raven at his window.
We knew it wouldn't be long after the trailer premiered that we'd sink our talons into the first official teaser one-sheet for James McTeigue's The Raven, and that time has come! Read on for the goodies!
As well they should, too! In honor of the 162nd anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe’s death today, October 7, 2011, and in support the upcoming release of Relativity Media’s The Raven, black-wrapped cars, mannequins, and trash cans with “RIP EAP” emblazoned on them appeared in the Fells Point section of Baltimore, Maryland, and we've got some images from the event right here for you!
As promised, the trailer for James McTeigue's upcoming film The Raven is here, and much to our delight we like what we see. Check it out for yourself, and be sure to keep Poe in your thoughts today, the 162nd anniversary of his death.
Friday, October 7th, marks the 162nd anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe's death, and in honor of the occasion we have two new stills from James McTeigue's upcoming film The Raven. In addition, the director and Luke Evans, one of the film's stars, will participate in a ceremony at Poe's gravesite in Baltimore tomorrow, which is also when the first trailer will be released.
You want eye candy? Brothers and sisters, we have got you covered. What better way to conclude a Friday afternoon than with your first look at the lovely Alice Eve ("Entourage") in the upcoming James McTeigue flick The Raven?
Another bit of variant artwork for James McTeigue's upcoming take on the darkness surrounding the life of the great Edgar Allan Poe has hit the interwebs, and we have it for you here free of all that annoying rap-rap-rapping.
Guess what just landed in our inbox? The first official poster art for The Raven! Good thing we heard it tapping at our chamber door or you guys would be in the friggin' dark!

The Film Stage website got an early look at this week's Entertainment Weekly (we still barely ever get ours on the regular; I blame the postman) and was kind enough to fire up the old scanner and get out new images from The Raven, Total Recall, and Underworld 4 or Underworld 4: New Dawn or Underworld: Awakenings or whatever the hell they're calling it this week.
They don't show much, and one is decidedly on the blurry side, but a couple of new pictures of John Cusack channeling Edgar Allan Poe have popped up online courtesy of USA Today so of course we have them for you here!

It used to be that we'd have to wait until closer to the opening of the San Diego Comic-Con to get the schedule for horror related panels, signings, and such, but this year things are a bit different. On tap for today is info on panels for Relativity Media's The Raven and Immortals along with DreamWorks' "Feeding Frenzy" contest and panel for Fright Night.
