For better or worse the Weinsteins have kept some of our favorite film franchises alive and kicking with their horror arm, Dimension. Now the company Bob and Harvey built is ready to turn its attention to the small screen.
The supermarket is one of the centers of the community. It's a place where neighbors go to buy their groceries while catching up with each other. They exchange stories, laughs and gossip in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. That's a nice picture, but unfortunately it's not always the case in reality.
There weren't a lot of horror films honored during the 35th Annual Saturn Awards, presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films, but those that were certainly are deserving.

I've been waiting and waiting for the DVD art to be revealed for The Mist (review), which hits DVD on March 25th (pre-order it here), and this is all I get for my troubles: a slightly tweaked version of the theatrical poster.
The Weinstein Company has finally released the specs for the March 25th DVD bow of The Mist (review), one of the best received horror movies in recent memory. Both a two-disc collector’s edition and a single-disc edition will be streeting on the 25th.
Well, there’s neither art nor specs for it yet, but if Amazon is to be trusted (and why would they lie to us?), at least the DVD release for The Mist (review) has a date; March 25th, 2008 (pre-order it here).
The Mist (review) is one of those films that, we hope, is going to be discussed and dissected for years to come. It’s a fantastic adaptation of a Stephen King story with just the right amount of liberties, but that ending ... Wowzers.
Just over a week before we finally get to see if Frank Darabont’s The Mist (review) lives up to the hype we’ve been giving it since the moment it was announced as actually happening. And yes, I believe it does, though I’ve not seen any more of it than you guys have.
