Horsemen DVD Details

Lionsgate issued the first DVD details on the original(!) Platinum Dunes film Horsemen today, and we've got the lowdown on what to expect.

Domestic Horsemen Poster

After a lot of international posters for The Horsemen, finally a domestic one has shown up on IMP Awards. None of them has been exactly mind-blowing, but this is the first to really give you a whole helluva lot of Quaid all up in your face.

U.S. Horsemen Trailer

The other day we pointed you guys to the international trailer for The Horsemen, the next original film from Platinum Dunes after The Unborn. Finally a U.S. trailer for it has shown up so you can actually understand what’s being said now!

Below you can see the international poster for The Horsemen, one of the first original products of Platinum Dunes. For whatever reason it’s getting no love from its U.S. distributor, Rogue Pictures, so we still have no idea when it’ll be out here, but the Italians are all over it!

    Plot Synopsis:

    Aidan Breslin is a bitter detective emotionally distanced from his two young sons following the untimely death of his devoted wife. While investigating a series of murders of rare violence, he discovers a terrifying link between himself and the suspects in a chain of murders that seem to be based on the Biblical prophecies concerning the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death.

    The Horsemen Trailer Rides In!

    We just received word from the guys over at Bad Taste that they've posted the first trailer for Platinum Dunes’ The Horsemen! The site is in Italian so the trailer likely is as well (I can’t watch it to verify where I am), but at least we’re finally seeing more movement on this!

    Platinum Dunes Status Report

    While on the set of the Friday the 13th remake, we had the chance to sit down with the men behind the film, Platinum Dunes’ Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. Together they gave us a good overview of what’s on the horizon for Dunes and their various projects.

    Platinum Says No New TCM, F13 Update

    Now this is the kind of smart thinking I like to hear from the world of Hollywood; Brad Fuller, one of the producers at Platinum Dunes, told the folks at B-D last night that there are absolutely no plans for another Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Finally, someone admits they don’t want to create a trilogy.
