Now that the dust has settled and The Crazies remake is making its home video debut, we caught up with director Breck Eisner to talk about all of the horrors he faced while working on the project.

Next week The Crazies hits DVD and Blu-ray so you know what that means, right? Time to give it away to you for free! Why? Maybe it's because we like you. Or maybe, just maybe, it's because we're a little crazy ourselves.

While we haven't gotten anything official here in the States as of yet, we do know that Amazon Canada has a brand new listing for the Breck Eisner remake with a release date of June 29th!

Finally we're all finished with the throng of behind-the-scenes clips and promotional videos for The Crazies (review here). Well, okay we have two more for you! The first features star Radha Mitchell going through some pretty heavy turmoil courtesy of MTV, and the second is a look at the really crazy LA Premiere Experience for the flick which was created for mass consumption and put together by our own Brian Dreads!

Dread Central was given the opportunity to catch up with the man who helmed the project to talk about what makes his Crazies so terrifying and what the status is on two projects he’s been attached to - Flash Gordon and The Brood remake.

One of the most frightening things that is presented in both the original George A. Romero classic The Crazies and Breck Eisner's re-envisioning of the tale hitting theatres on February 26th is that the events of both films are pretty plausible. The sad truth is that we are living in a time of N1H1 and other super-strains of influenza. There have been several times this very year that things seemed to be getting scary on a level that's far too real to comprehend.
