Frostbitten Netflix Thriller Dominating Online Charts is “Absolutely brilliant”

A 2020 crime thriller has seized the top spot on Netflix today. This all-but-forgotten title is currently representing the genre at #2, making it our highest-charting movie on the streamer. If you’ve somehow missed out on The Silencing, now might be the perfect time to correct that oversight. I would suggest you start with the trailer and synopsis below.

In the film,

“A reformed hunter and a female sheriff get caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse when they set out to track a killer who may have kidnapped his daughter five years earlier.”

The Silencing was directed by Robin Pront. The script was penned by Micah Ranum. The movie stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Annabelle Wallis, Zahn McClarnon, Melanie Scrofano, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Patrick Garrow, and Danielle Ryan.

In a surprising turn of events, Netflix subscribers didn’t check this movie out solely to see what Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is doing now that Game Of Thrones is over. Most viewers seem to be vocal stan accounts for Hero Fiennes Tiffin.

Because we are all trying to cozy up to Netflix thrillers this month, I am not surprised this one suddenly appeared at the top of the charts. However, I feel bad that I am one of the people showing up late to this movie. Although 2020 was a very rough year and caused many projects to fly below our radars.
