The Night Crew Bring a Double Dose of Terror Talk!

The denizens of The Night Crew Podcast have been busy these past few weeks, releasing not one, but two new episodes of their groundbreaking podcast.

In a decidedly “Not Safe For Work” episode, Thom Carnell (FANGORIA, DREAD CENTRAL) and Sean “The Butcher” Smithson (FANGORIA, TWITCH) talk with Lee Gambin (FANGORIA) about his Melbourne Australia-based play about Stephen King called The King Of Bangor, and TWITCH’s Andrew Mack delivers his Twitch News Of The Week. Author, journalist, and cinephile Phillip Nutman discusses Sergio Corbucci and his output of gritty, grimy, sweaty dirt operas. Plus, there’s the usual orgy of trailers, music, and smack talk. It’s hot to trot and freer than sex with a hippy, it’s episode 10 of The Night Crew!

And then, in an episode dubbed “A Home Invasion Party,” Thom and Sean break down two out-of-the-box home invasion films of yesteryear, Because Of The Cats from 1973, and the John Huston classic from 1948, Key Largo. They are later joined by author Lorelei Shannon, who discusses her new book Possum Kingdom, and Heather Buckley speaks with Kidnapped director Miguel Ángel Vivas. In addition, Toronto based bad-ass Andrew Mack (with his Twitch News of the Week), author Philip Nutman (with his Wild Western Films Primer), and Fangoria editor-in-chief Chris Alexander drop by with their respected and informed contributions. Plus, they unleash the ever-present barrage of trailers, tunes, and buffoonery. It’s crack for insomniac geeks, that show from the fiery depths below… The Night Crew.
