Jason's done 3D (and will do so again next year). Freddy's done 3D. Michael Myers might do 3D. Now Leatherface is going to rev up his chainsaw for a three-dimensional chainsaw massacre, at least if the Saw producers close their pending deal to take over the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre
DVD Releases: Sept 29, 2009: The Trauma of a Shortcut to The Hills that Run Red
This week sees a couple of re-releases on Blu-Ray (Snakes on a Plane and 2003's Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake), a few unknowns (Bloodwine, Farmhouse, Flesh, TX, and Nightmare), "real life" compilations Haunted Histories and Paranormal State: Demonic Investigations, and lots more; but the star of show is without a doubt The Hills Run Red.

Teri McMinn Talks Meathooks, Chainsaws, and Massacres
As any horror fan worth their salt knows, back in 1974, a little film was released (or unleashed) upon the public with the off-putting yet intriguing title, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Chainsaw Doc, South Texas Blues, Goes to Print
There's been lots of documentation relating to Tobe Hooper's classic film The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, but nothing as unique as Christopher Garetano's South Texas Blues -- the TCM making-of graphic novel.

Dark Sky Makes Leatherface Blu!
About two years ago we reviewed ultimate Texas Chainsaw Massacre DVD from Dark Sky, and it was good. Everything from the special features all the way down to the transfer kicked some major leathery ass. It was good headcheese for all. But now that we've entered into the Blu-ray era, will Leatherface and the family get their due?

It’s been a while since anyone’s been talking about Texas Chainsaw Massacre, since the last thing that came our way tended to underwhelm and no plans for anything new have been in place. Then Fangoria talked to Kim Henkel, writer of the Tobe Hooper original, who gave them the word that he’s working on a new Leatherface adventure.

Mezco's Fear-Filled Lineup
Back during the annual Toy Fair, Mezco made some pretty cool announcements about their upcoming Cinema of Fear lineup, but not many pics of the actual figures were available. That’s because most are still in the prototype stage right now and awaiting approval.
