Idris Elba
Surprisingly, Demons Never Die looks like it could be a kickass horror film. We've had some good luck with UK imports lately and this one, written and directed by Arjun Rose, has finally got a trailer to show off.
Just a few days ago the quad one-sheet for a new film out of the UK, Demons Never Die, written and directed by Arjun Rose, made its first appearance, and today we have a look at the first stills released from the flick, which is produced by Idris Elba ("The Wire", 28 Weeks Later, RocknRolla).
The latest bit of psycho-driven fun from our friends across the pond has gotten a makeover. A title change has turned the film once known as Suicide Kids into the less edgy Demons Never Die. We even have a new quad one-sheet for ya. Dig it!
The Thursday night screenings and parties are officially over and you know what that means ... back to work for us! One of Friday's highlights was no doubt the Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance panel and Maria Lewis has the highlights for you!
Anxious to see Nicolas Cage set his head on fire? Who wouldn't be? We're back with a boatload of new artwork and a great look at the Ghost Rider's cycle via the madness of the San Diego Comic-Con!
Earlier this month we told you that Idris Elba had been offered one of the leads in Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim. While nothing was official back then, we received word today that the actor has closed the deal and is now on board.
The good news, it's not Charlie Sheen although seeing him go head-up against giant monsters would be a mirth filled treat the likes of which is rarely seen. Maybe one day, right? In the interim we have some more possible casting news for you to chew on.
We've been saying for years now that the genre is in need of some good old fashioned monster movies, and hopefully this weekend's Super 8 will get things started with a mighty roar.
More psycho-driven fun has hit our radar coming from our friends across the pond so we figured we'd share. You know. We always make nice. Especially when kids are involved. Check it!
From the Press Release
So we've been wondering just who everyone's favorite motorcycle driving hot head will be tussling with when Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 3D roars into theatres, and finally an undead answer has come!
Personally we couldn't care less what Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is about. It has Nicolas Cage transforming into a biker with a flaming skull cruising around Romania. That alone ensures a trip to the theatre for us! But for the curious we have the early sales synopsis.
Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor's Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance has just wrapped the Turkey portion of its shoot, and dozens of behind-the-scenes images have surfaced, including our first look at what could be Ghost Rider's Hellcycle! Dig it!
While Nicolas Cage was out and about promoting Season of the Witch, which open this weekend, of course the subject of his upcoming Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance came up; and the star not only gives us some insight into the filming style of directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor but also promises a "completely new experience" compared to the original.
Blade has become a much beloved character in both the horror and Marvel universes. Wesley Snipes breathed a hell of a lot of life into the character of the Day Walker, and truth be told? Sticky Fingaz was pretty damned good, too. But now someone else is eying all those wonderful bits of vamp hunting weaponry.
We elected to pass on reviewing Obsessed here at Dread Central; its Fatal Attraction theme just seemed too "been there/done that." But now, thanks to Trembles, you have a chance to see if we were right in our assessment.
