Toy Fair is in full swing, and we'll be bringing you all the horror in plastic goods from the show floor for the next few days. And who better to kick things off with other than Michael Myers, or should we say Rob Zombie's vision of Michael Myers?

It was last May when we first learned about a short film called "Judith" that was being written by Kenny Caperton, creator of The Myers House NC, a life-size replica of the infamous Michael Myers house from John Carpenter's Halloween. At that time "Judith"'s director, Josh Hasty, informed us that they hoped to begin filming in September at The Myers House. Apparently sometimes things do go according to plan as we heard from Caperton today, who informed us shooting would be under way in a couple of weeks.

The good folks at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights have sent us along some character concept art and images from their new maze: "Halloween: The Life and Crimes of Michael Myers". It's been a long time since we've felt excited about anything pertaining to Halloween. This feels good!

The (almost) final weekend box office numbers are in, confirming our earlier report that David R. Ellis' The Final Destination had emerged as the champ in its battle against Rob Zombie's Halloween II. The numbers? $28.3 million (a whopping $9,079 per screen) for TFD (no doubt benefiting from its 3D price bump) and $17.4 million (a much smaller average of $5,754) for H2.

Did you think that the endless barrage of Zombieween II nonsense would stop once the film hit theaters? How naive are you? Now that Zombie's sequel is upon us, we can start talking about the DVD and Blu-ray release - so get ready for months of updating, speculating and self-loathing as we prepare to talk the director's cut of Halloween II.

Seriously, there used to be a time when I would get all psyched up for the latest misadventures of Haddonfield's least popular citizen. But the last time that happened was 1995, and to be honest, I've dreaded every single entry following The Curse of Michael Myers (say what you will, but I dig that movie). Halloween II is nearly upon us, and before the horror community begins sounding off over the merits and demerits of the latest Zombieween, Dimension has prepared a nifty contest for the director's fans.

In the first version of Halloween Rob Zombie had Myers speak one word, "Boo", referring of course to Laurie Strode's pet name as a baby. The scene didn't work, and Zombie wisely cut it. Will the "giant" be speaking in the sequel?

Furthering his love for big time horror celebrity cameos in his films, Rob Zombie has even sprinkled some Myers action into his upcoming animated feature The Haunted World of El Superbeasto!

Hey Halloween fans! You know that mask you love so very much? Well, you may not be seeing as much of it as you'd like to in Rob Zombie's upcoming Halloween 2.

If there's one thing Rob Zombie did right in his remake of Halloween it was the look of The Shape's mask. Simply put, it was as badass as it gets. Or so I thought. Several pictures surfaced tonight of what could be The Shape's newest head piece and all I can think is, "God, I hope so!".

Over on Rob Zombie’s MySpace page, the man has posted the first sculpts from effects man Wayne Toth of the new Michael Myers mask for his Halloween 2, one of which you can see on your right.
