Jason Statham
Finally the long gestating Jason Statham vs. a serial killer flick Blitz is making its way to American shores, and we've got the cover art and details right here!
Believe it or not, we've been talking about the Jason Statham serial killer flick Blitz since 2009. Talk about leaving the bun in the oven, huh? In any event the movie is making its way to home video in the UK, and we've got the trailer and some artwork for you!
It's been over a year since last we mentioned the new thriller starring Jason Statham which finds him going head-up with a vicious psychopath, Blitz, but the movie gods? They keep right on working, and today we have the official UK one-sheet.
Director Gela Babluani is back with a remake of his very own 2006 film 13 Tzameti for Overture/Relativity, and he's brought along a hefty bit of star power along with him.
A few weeks back we told you that Jason Statham had signed on to Elliott Lester’s Blitz, a thriller about a serial killer targeting the police population in South London. Today we’ve got more info, including further casting and distribution.
Jason Statham has been known to dabble on the fringes of our genre (we'll just keep quiet about Ghosts of Mars, okay), and he's in talks to do so once again by tackling a psychopath for Lionsgate UK.

Our man Andrew Kasch sat down with the cast and crew (even our favorite director, Paul W.S. Anderson) of Death Race in order to learn what we can expect from remake and why it was being remade in the first place.
The more I see of Paul Anderson's remake of Death Race 2000, more depressed I get. While we're all for more blood and carnage, this version of DR has no identity of its own. Everything from the cars down to the characters just feel generic. But at least there will be blood...
UPDATE: According to Crank scribe Mark Neveldine, Troma's Lloyd Kaufman will have a cameo in Crank 2 along with Gelnn Howard ("It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia") and someone we thought bit the big one in the first film, Efren Ramirez.
Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor made probably one of the most underrated movies of 2006, Crank. It was tasteless, bloody and funny. Sadly, we all thought Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) was a goner when he fell a few thousand feet and smashed into a car.
