Our friends across the pond have nabbed themselves some artwork for the highly anticipated horror flick Cabin in the Woods, and as always we have it for you right here!

While on the set of Takashi Shimizu's upcoming supernatural airplane thriller 7500, producer Roy Lee offered up updates on potential remakes or reboots for The Ring and The Grudge. Another remake that the producer briefly discussed during Dread Central's set visit is the long-rumored Poltergeist project that has seen its share of problems over the last year.

Adam Green continues his ongoing quest to work himself to death with several projects on the horizon including Killer Pizza, which has delivered some good news along with the pepperoni.

Fans of classic horror and cheesy Eighties movies have just received the green light to shit their pants with joy! Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s MOD (Manufacturing on Demand) initiative is once again unleashing MGM's vaults with a stellar collection of long gone classics!

Some honest to goodness non-Comic-Con related news just crossed our desk, and it's made us happier than anything else we're likely to hear all week: Lionsgate has set a release date for Drew Goddard's Cabin in the Woods!

Apparently it's really happening! Lionsgate, bless their black hearts, is serious about getting the long, long, looooooong delayed horror flick The Cabin in the Woods into theatres this year, and the first ever still has made its way online!

Now this is remake news that really doesn't irk us too much. If you're going to add your own slant on a famed film, why not do so in a way in which you're bringing something new to the table while still honoring the source material (i.e., The Blob and Dawn of the Dead)?

Unfortunately only one qualifies as real horror, but there's another that should appeal to genre fans so we're including some info on both for your perusal.
