Exclusive: Romero Talks Diary 2!

So as you all probably know by now, George Romero’s latest fan-dividing zombie film, Diary of the Dead, is finally coming to DVD on May 20th (get it here). To celebrate and help spread the word, our own Uncle Creepy sat down with Mr. Romero for a cool, very relaxed interview that you should give a listen to right here.

X-Files 2 Trailer is Here

Though I still will hold on tightly to my lack of caring about anything X-Files, especially when the sequel got one of the most idiotic subtitles I’ve ever heard (I Want to Believe, in case you missed it), I know you guys will probably eat this up.

Mother of Tears U.S. Site Opens

Though early word on the film has been mixed at best, that shouldn’t stop us from getting excited about finally seeing some U.S. love for Dario Argento’s Mother of Tears (review), should it? No freakin’ way!

Henkel Preps a New TCM?

It’s been a while since anyone’s been talking about Texas Chainsaw Massacre, since the last thing that came our way tended to underwhelm and no plans for anything new have been in place. Then Fangoria talked to Kim Henkel, writer of the Tobe Hooper original, who gave them the word that he’s working on a new Leatherface adventure.

Darko Gets Sequelized

Though it’s hard to put Donnie Darko in the “horror” category, I think it’s bizarre enough to have a place in most of your hearts anyway. And when there’s a place in your heart for an original that means you don’t need to make much room to question a pointless sequel.

Hellboy II to Close 2008 LA Film Fest

If you live in or around LA or are planning to be in the area at the end of June, you could be among the lucky few who get to see Hellboy II: The Golden Army a full 13 days early.

Hell Returns to Earth for Doom 4

If there's one horror gaming series that doesn't need any introduction, it's Doom.

More Casting, Details for The Descent 2

It’s not a lot more information, but I have to admit I’m fascinated by the idea of a sequel for The Descent, especially when there’s absolutely no need to have one.

Mendoza & MacDonald Return in Descent 2!

The Descent (review), while a great fucking movie, never really struck me as the kind that needed a sequel. The original ending summed everything up nicely. That isn't the case as you can tell since there is indeed a follow-up with Neil Marshall being replaced by Jon Harris in the director's chair.

Hellboy 3 ... with del Toro?!

We've all heard the rumors about director Guillermo del Toro either not wanting to be part of another Hellboy flick, or talks of someone taking his place if the series rolls on. Just where does he stand right now?

Saw V Gets Meagan Good

The Saw franchise still has a monumental amount of potential left in it, and we're hoping the addition of David Hackl at the helm of the upcoming sequel will spark its usage. Oh, and you need a good cast too.

Win AVP: Requiem on DVD!

The second chapter in the AVP franchise hits DVD next week, and as always we have your hook-up for some free swag! Dread Central, in conjunction with Fox Home Entertainment, has your chance to win Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem on DVD, and getting yourself a copy couldn't be more simple!

No Toolbox 2 for Reddick

Just a few days back we told you guys about the possibility of Toolbox Murders 2, which was apparently being written by Jeffrey Reddick (Day of the Dead redux). The story came from Fangoria, so of course Reddick got in touch with them to set the record straight:
