Not a bad selection of horror DVDs hitting on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009. The question is if any of them are actually worth getting.

Pretty much everyone who saw the 2007 horror entry Vacancy can agree that it was ripe for a follow-up. So many unanswered questions, so many loose threads, there just had to be more, right?

For many of us our first introduction into the world of horror came from our parents telling us, "If you aren't good, The Boogeyman will get you!" To that I say thanks for starting me early on shitting my pants, mom and dad!

I know what you're thinking -- "Man, I really wish someone would make another Boogeyman movie!" Well, consider your wish granted! There's another on the way and we've got the goods on what to expect.

DVD Active confirmed the suspicions none of us cared to have that there would indeed be a second direct-to-video Boogeyman film. Gary Jones, who brought us the memorable Ghouls (review), has been tasked with the challenge of making a budget DVD movie in Bulgaria. How could any of this go wrong?
