Lucky fans in the UK won't have to wait very much longer to get their hands on the latest entry in George A. Romero's Dead franchise! Just another reason to envy those across the pond.

Talk about a treat for Halloween! What looks to be a rough cut of a new promo (for the upcoming AFM perhaps?) for George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead (review here) showed up on YouTube, and we've got it for you right here! Just beware that spoilers abound ... as does a glorious amount of gory gags.

The sixth entry into George A. Romero's Dead franchise, Survival of the Dead, is getting quite a bit of attention after its debut run at the Venice International Film Festival, where according to @OfficialRomero it received a nearly five-minute long standing ovation upon conclusion (a portion of which was caught on video), and as a result distribution rights are selling quickly!

Part Two of the Survival of the Dead video series Sarge Speaks just popped up online featuring Alan Van Sprang as Sarge, in character and talking apocalypse. Suit up, soldier.

In anticipation of the film's world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival as part of the "Midnight Madness" portion of programming, the first clip from George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead has made its way online.

I can pretty much guarantee that no one is more stoked for the release of George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead than I am. Being a zombie for the master? It just doesn't get much better. To help you get just as excited, a new video has debuted on the official Survival of the Dead MySpace page!

Now that George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead is just a few short weeks away from premiering at film festivals in Venice, Toronto, and Austin, we expect more and more info will begin coming in, and today there's both a behind-the-scenes sneak peek courtesy of MySpace and a new still from Fangoria.

The dead are back in Romero's follow-up to Diary of the Dead, which is now FINALLY known as Survival of the Dead, and lucky fans in Austin, Texas will get to see it first here in the States as part of Fantastic Fest '09!

George A. Romero has finally filled in the blank at the beginning of the title of his latest zombie-filled tale of corpses and carnage. ... of the Dead is now being called Survival of the Dead, and it will be playing at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.

This weekend at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Chicago, George A. Romero was one of the featured special guests. Not only did the esteemed Godfather of Zombie Films give genre fanatics a taste of his new film ...Of The Dead, but he also answered fan questions. One topic that came up was Romero’s involvement with the remake of The Crazies.

George Romero was at a film festival recently and showed a very cool behind-the-scenes clip from his latest zombie outing, still called …of the Dead. It features cast and crew talking about how cool it is working with George, including one zombie whom I’m sure you’ll all find very familiar.

While speaking with George Romero today about the "Tales from the Darkside" DVD release, I got a quick update on what's been happening with the still not officially titled ...of the Dead.

A whole slew of trailers have appeared on the official site for Voltage Pictures, the guys behind a lot of cool upcoming horror titles like Eduardo Sanchez’s Seventh Moon. Instead of boring you with multiple stories about one thing, how about one story about multiple things?
