After a very quiet post-Labor Day weekend for new movies, where Resident Evil: Afterlife (review) was the only major film released widely (and owned the box office), this week's new horror DVD titles aren't aplenty either.

Vivendi Entertainment announced today that they will be releasing a load of horror flicks to Blu-ray this fall just in time for the Halloween season. Whether or not you're gonna want to rewatch or buy them, well ... that's another story entirely!

While at Comic-Con, both Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan were ready to let fans know whether or not we can expect a fourth installment in the Feast franchise.

Our man Andrew Kasch reported in this past weekend with news that the one and only Clu Gulager, father of John and actor in more roles than I care to count, is starting up his very own film festival in Los Angeles. Running August 27th-30th, the craftily titled Clu Gulager Film Festival will feature some great movies and even better guests.

The first Feast (review) was a good time at the movies, if you were lucky enough to catch its limited screening. It was a perfect mixture of comedy, ultra violence and total tastelessness. We need more of that.

Man, some people just never learn, do they? Despite seeing what became of their first writing project for the company, the duo behind Feast have just sold off another pair of scripts to Dimension Films, according to Variety.
