Dead Snow

Well, we've gone from the famine of last week to a veritable feast of DVD and Blu-ray offerings on home video this week. There's definitely something for everyone: Nazi zombies in Dead Snow, freaks galore in The Vampire's Assistant, beautiful people getting hacked and slashed in Sorority Row, and buttons being pushed in The Box.

And the DVD and Blu-ray news keeps marching on ... this time said marching comes in the form of some demonic goose-stepping as we've got all the details on MPI/IFC's home video release of Tommy Wirkola's Dead Snow.

Information on when you can get your hands on two kind of underwhelming flicks that should have been a lot better dropped today. Zombie's psychobilly freak-out Halloween II and Tommy Wirkola's all too quirky zombie opus Dead Snow are both on their way!

IFC Films has quickly become one of horror's best friends by picking up lots of really good properties that otherwise would have struggled and giving them theatrical and on-demand releases, making them easily accessible to us blood-hungry fans.

A new trailer for Tommy Wirkola's slice of Nazi Zombie mayhem, Dead Snow, surfaced today, this time for the film's UK release. It just looks so damned good!

Those of you excited to see the latest Nazi zombie-filled slice of undead anarchy known as Tommy Wirkola's Dead Snow should be very happy for a chance to dig on the U.S. trailer. Let the euphoria begin!

Who doesn't love Nazi Zombie movies? These cretins were so evil and so foul it's almost poetic that they be given the chance to die gruesomely not once but twice! Well, come June you'll be able to experience the bloodshed in theatres first-hand.

Finally some horror news is coming out of this year’s Sundance, namely the word that Dead Snow has been picked up for distribution by IFC Films.

I love movie posters. I especially love movie posters that have cool friggin' zombies on them. The official one sheet for the Nazi zombie fest Dead Snow debuted today, and it's got me foaming at the mouth!

Those sickos over at Twitch Film are kicking off 2009 with two clips from the snowboarding/zombie film Dead Snow, which is premiering at this year's Sundance! Does it look as good as you had hoped? Better? Worse? Watch 'em both and discuss below!
