The Thursday night screenings and parties are officially over and you know what that means ... back to work for us! One of Friday's highlights was no doubt the Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance panel and Maria Lewis has the highlights for you!

Anxious to see Nicolas Cage set his head on fire? Who wouldn't be? We're back with a boatload of new artwork and a great look at the Ghost Rider's cycle via the madness of the San Diego Comic-Con!

So we've been wondering just who everyone's favorite motorcycle driving hot head will be tussling with when Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 3D roars into theatres, and finally an undead answer has come!

A couple of tidbits of information hit Twitter today regarding two projects we've been keeping our eyes on: Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor's rip-roaring 3D sequel Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Danish director Ole Bornedal's Dibbuk Box, which has a script by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White that was inspired by true events.

If you reside in a German-speaking country and have been wondering if you'd be able to see the upcoming Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 3D upon its completion, rest easy. Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park Intl. has struck a distribution deal with German distributor Telepool.

Personally we couldn't care less what Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is about. It has Nicolas Cage transforming into a biker with a flaming skull cruising around Romania. That alone ensures a trip to the theatre for us! But for the curious we have the early sales synopsis.

Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor's Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance has just wrapped the Turkey portion of its shoot, and dozens of behind-the-scenes images have surfaced, including our first look at what could be Ghost Rider's Hellcycle! Dig it!

While Nicolas Cage was out and about promoting Season of the Witch, which open this weekend, of course the subject of his upcoming Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance came up; and the star not only gives us some insight into the filming style of directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor but also promises a "completely new experience" compared to the original.

The combination of Nicolas Cage playing a spirit of vengeance with a flaming skull and directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor has us giddy. Oh, the spectacle this could turn into! Ready for your first glimpse of Cage on set? Of course you are!

Looking forward to Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance from the Crank duo of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor? I mean come on! Their frantic filming style in 3D plus Cage's over-acting, coupled with whatever Cage's scene-chewing hairstyle ends up being, can't friggin' miss, can it? I know we're there.

I'm now fully convinced that Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is going to be considerably better than its predecessor even if it ends up being a bad movie. The Crank guys having Ghost Rider fighting Satan in Transylvania with the help of an alcoholic warrior monk is guaranteed to entertain on some level. Add Idris Elba as that drunk monk, and the odds increase dramatically.

There's been a lot of talk lately about the sequel to the rather tepid Ghost Rider flick starring Nic Cage, but today we're getting some solid details, such as an official title and even a targeted release date.

So, wondering what we'll be seeing in the Nicolas Cage driven sequel to the misfire that was Ghost Rider written by the Crank duo of Neveldine and Taylor? Other than Cage possibly fighting Dracula, Cage exhibiting more CGI abs, and of course Cage's ludicrously changing hair style? Well, a recent script review is home to some more details. After this latest news that the Ghost Rider 2 is going to be set in Europe after all and possibly have the Spirit of Vengeance battling vampires, something tells me this sequel is going to be mega oodles of stupid. And with the Crank guys directing it in 3D, I wouldn't be shocked if this movie causes someone watching to actually die from motion sickness.

Ever since Ghost Rider opened in 2007, it seems like the only person clamoring for a sequel has been Nicolas Cage. Now word is coming out that Columbia is so desperate to get a Ghost Rider sequel into production before the franchise rights revert back to Marvel's new owners, Disney, that they may rush it into production with a skull not Cage's bursting into flame.
