Edward Furlong
Here we are. The dead of winter (well, okay, it's 70 degrees here in California), and what better way to keep those chills coming could there be other than debuting the first stills and teaser trailer for a flick called Below Zero?
New Orleans survived the worst hurricane of a generation, but can it survive an Arachnoquake? Not just an earthquake... an earthquake that unleashes giant albino spiders from deep within the bowels of the earth. Can Carol Seaver, John Connor, and Alfalfa save the Big Easy from an earth-rattling, eight-legged apocalypse?
More news of new flicks coming out just in time for this year's AFM. While we're void of any eye candy, we do have word that a new flick called The Devil's Dozen is on its way, and it's sporting a pretty expansive genre cast.
The Mortician is on its way in 3D, and if you're a fan of psychologically thrilling horror, you're in for a treat. Former Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man stars in the lead role (looking like a cross between Carlton from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and 49ers receiver Braylon Edwards). Grindstone Entertainment has picked up the rights to the film, and a new trailer awaits you.
Actor Edward Furlong may have missed a few steps over the last couple of years, but when this cat is on his game, he's really on his game. That's why we're rooting for him to get his shit together and are hoping that his next film, Stitch, is the first step of many in the right direction for him.
It was almost fifteen years ago when "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and "Diamond" Dallas Page were feuding in World Championship Wrestling. They'll be contending again in the thriller Black River that casts DDP as a man on the brink and the Hulkster as a psychopathic serial killer.
And the 3D craze keeps cooking along steadily with the announcement that yet another film riddled with things that pop out to say boo is coming, this one involving a writer, a freezer, and some really nasty personal demons.
For most of us, other than the spooky ghost who came out of the well in the American Ring films, the only other unnerving bit of the flick was Naomi Watts' son's constant freakiness. Well, the actor who played the little weird kid, David Dorfman, is all grown up now (wow, does time fly), and he's already attending his prom. Of course murderous mayhem ensues.
The DVD art for Dark Reel (review) has shown up online, and for reasons that will be obvious when you click on it to see it full-size, we’re pretty damn happy with it!
The pic you see to your right is one of a whole slew of new images from Adam Gierasch’s upcoming Night of the Demons remake, which is rolling as we speak!

Back in May of this year, we all found out about two new projects from B-Movie master Uwe Boll. Stoic, a story of two cellmates who brutalize the third then cover up the crime, now has a teaser trailer out there. We picked it up and embedded it!
Been a long time since we heard anything about Dark Reel, the film-within-a-film by Josh Eisenstadt that we showed you a whole slew of images from back here.
