It's not often that we cover the USA Network's "Psych" here at Dread Central, although last year when they did a "Twin Peaks" homage, we gave them a mention; and now that they're taking on both Lestat and Blacula, well, how could we resist passing on the info to our readers?
Fans of AMC's "The Walking Dead" got another treat today as the network released an additional 20 behind-the-scenes stills from Season One.
And two more names have been added to the ever-growing roster for NBC's "17th Precinct", both of whom have a bit of experience with TV law enforcement, albeit on different sides of the fence.
I have to admit I'm really enjoying the US version of "Being Human". Yeah, Josh is totally annoying, and Sally is nowhere near as endearing as Annie, her British counterpart. But both Aidan and Bishop kick all kinds of ass. Apparently Syfy agrees as they've just renewed the show for another year.
It's going to be loooong spring and summer while we wait for Season Two of "The Walking Dead" to debut, but to help ease the pain, AMC has released a batch of 20 new behind-the-scenes stills from Season One. Read on to relive the memories!
There's a healthy crop of genre-themed TV pilots on its way, and one show we've been keeping an eye on is NBC's "17th Precinct", which has just added a "Smallville" vet to its cast to join all the folks from "Battlestar Galactica" who have already signed on.
Another "Battlestar Galactica" alum has joined NBC's new supernatural series "17th Precinct", and we've got the skinny on who and what to expect from this latest bit of televised terror.
And the list of upcoming TV pilots that go bump in the night just keeps growing as NBC preps "17th Precinct" from "Battlestar Galactica" executive producer Ron Moore, who has coaxed his "BG" star Jamie Bamber to accept the lead in the ensemble cop drama with a sci-fi spin.
Excited for the return of Lisa and Ben in this week's episode of "Supernatural", entitled "Mannequin 3: The Reckoning"? Yeah, we aren't either, but we knew it was coming, and maybe the ep's preview and a clip provided by The CW will shed a little light on this latest turn of events.
ABC is certainly not skimping when it comes to ordering up new pilots as today the network greenlit 6 new ones, 3 of which sound like they fit into the genre at least partially, including horror/drama "The River", which Paranormal Activity creator Oren Peli is executive producing with his partners Jason Blum and Steven Schneider as well as DreamWorks TV's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.
Now this is disappointing. In a press release today, The CW announced that the next two episodes of "Supernatural", "Like a Virgin" and "Unforgiven", which were slotted to run tomorrow, January 28th, and next Friday, February 4th, respectively, have each been pushed back a week. Read on for the updated airdates and synopses.
"Supernatural" returns to The CW this Friday, January 28th, with an episode about dragons of all things! To help celebrate the occasion and make sure you're all feeling shiny and new, the network has released a preview of and a clip from Episode 12, "Like a Virgin", both of which we have right here!
As we warned you a few days ago in a spoiler-filled
look at the second half of "Supernatural" Season Six, Lisa and Ben will be returning to the show, and it's looking like that's happening sooner rather than later. Fans, brace yourselves for Episode 14 - "Mannequin 3: The Reckoning".
Though we're still not entirely sure why they just couldn't start running the original hit British TV series "Being Human", it seems that the folks over at Syfy are obviously on the right track with their remake.
