Dread Central has dubbed March, 2011 "Indie Horror Month", and one such filmmaker that we've been keeping an eye on is Bryan Ryan. No doubt you will be, too, after checking out his short film "The Guest", which has debuted online and we, of course, have right here!
A teaser has hit the Net for Bryan Ryan's short film "The Guest" that we recently told you about, and of course we have it for you here. If you dig what you see, be sure to check out our recent interview with Bryan Ryan for more!
You may recall a few months ago we told you about Final Girl Films' competition for indie horror filmmakers looking to make their next short film project. The contest was based on scripts only, and the first runner-up was Bryan Ryan for "The Guest".
The 2010 Dallas International Film Festival kicked off this past weekend by presenting actress Amber Heard with the first DALLAS Shining Star Award on Saturday, April 10, at The Angelika Film Center, and on Friday, April 16th, writer/director Frank Darabont will receive the DALLAS Star Award for his many contributions to the film industry over the course of his illustrious career.
We've been telling you about Chris Warren's Imago for quite a long time now. We've shown you stills, gotten you quotes, etc. Finally a trailer has reared its head and things are looking pretty good for this indie effort starring a couple of familiar faces.
We love when clarification is given. It just makes everything seem a bit saner, ya know? It seems that The Hollywood Reporter didn't have all of its ducks in a row concerning the title switch of Walking Distance to Experimental Activity.
The success of Paranormal Activity was bound to change a lot of things. Who knew it would even lead to the change in film title for Mel House's Walking Distance?
Three new stills have come our way -- from another dimension -- for Chris Warren's upcoming indie effort Imago, and we figured we'd share because you, dear readers ... are the wind beneath our wings.
We’ve been looking forward to Walking Distance, Mel House’s follow-up to the ambitious indie film Closet Space (review), since we first heard rumblings about how good the script was. So we kept Mr.
We just received a heads-up from Closet Space (review) director Mel House that the trailer for his latest mindbender, Walking Distance, is very close to being upon us. He’s currently shooting for a debut sometime near Thanksgiving, though the outlet has not been determined yet (I vote for Dread Central; don’t you?)
